TRANSLATIONS
For formal service of process, most non-English speaking countries require the documents to be translated into one of their official languages. Always rely on a professional for translating legal documents as even a tiny error can have drastic impact on legal enforceability of the matter.
PRICES
- Service of process*
- Informal: US$1,000.00**
- Rush Service: Call to request price details.
- Notary: Varies from country to country and ranges between $50 to $450. For some countries we get the affidavits notarized by US, Canadian, Australian or UK embassies. For others, we use other public notaries or lawyers authorized to notarize documents.
- Special Messenger (Fed Ex): Based on package weight. Rates can be calculated from Fedex website. We charge actuals only.
- Hague service: US$ 750 plus any fee charged by the country of destination.
- Copies: US$0.4 per page – For Hague service, two sets are required except a very few countries which require three sets.
- Translation: US$0.22 per word (proper nouns not translated)
- International skip tracing – Discuss pricing
- Status Update: In matters where a timely update from the local Embassy or Ministry is not forthcoming. Timely updates often require an in-person status check to obtain updates. Fee: $250.00 per status update.
